Daniela Cassetta is an independent artist based in Philadelphia. She earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and a minor in art education through the University of the Arts in May 2021. She earned her Master’s in Art Education from the University of the Arts in May 2022. Daniela’s passion for teaching is driven by her love and faith in the arts. She firmly believes that an art classroom is s a space for not only personal expression but also creative problem solving- both skills important for making art as well as navigating life outside of school.
In her personal work, she explores ideas involving the human body and control. She continues to experiment post-grad and explores new ideas through her personal experiences as she lives in Philadelphia and continues her teaching practice. She has shown in a few group exhibitions both through the University of the Arts and local galleries. She does commission work in a variety of mediums.
Daniela’s main goal is to inspire the next generation of artists while continuing to make work that is reflective of herself. She will continue her personal practice and be the example of a working artist that whom she hopes to inspire her students with. Her career in the arts is split between giving back to her community and creating personal artwork.
